Semester at Sea’s Spring 2025 Voyage (the 135th) is officially underway! The shipboard community embarked on the MV World Odyssey on January 5 in Bangkok, Thailand and they are now en route to their first port: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Spring 2025 Voyage By the Numbers Highlights:
- 536 student voyagers (502 undergraduate, 25 gap year, and 9 recent graduates) with an average GPA of 3.4
- Students represent 46 states and 25 countries outside of the U.S.
- 206 universities are represented with several sending 10+ students: University of Colorado: Boulder (45), Colorado State University: Fort Collins (26), University of San Diego (15), Arizona State University (13), and San Diego State University (12).
- 60 full-time faculty and staff on the voyage
- $5.4 million awarded in financial aid scholarships awarded
