Dear Semester at Sea Community,
Our team is here to help connect you to the Semester at Sea program and community you love, keep you in the know about things happening on the ship, in the lives of your fellow alumni, and with the ISE home office. For years now, Facebook has been one of the best ways to do all of this.
We expect that to continue. But that also means we need to launch and ask you to join a new Semester at Sea Facebook page.
Why the change?
We don’t have much choice. Our current page was set up long ago and was not fully administered by ISE. Despite more than two years spent trying to gain access and ownership, Facebook has asked us to close down our former page and start over.
While not something we relish doing (we have 62k followers on the current page), we’re excited to welcome you to our new – and improved! – Facebook page, where you’ll continue to get the latest updates and voyage announcements without interruption, plus more alumni stories, photos, videos, and giveaways than ever before. (Seriously, we’re going to make it worth the “follow”!)
Follow us!
Please take a moment to visit and follow our new Facebook page at facebook.com/semesteratseastudyabroad. As for our old page? You can unfollow it right away or wait a few weeks. It is slated to be deleted on August 1, 2024!
Spread the word!
Your engagement and support are crucial in making our online SAS community vibrant and informative. We encourage you to share the new page with fellow voyagers, alumni, and friends who may not have received this message.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we make this transition. If you have any questions or encounter any issues, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Marketing and Communications team at marketing@isevoyages.org
We look forward to continuing to connect and share many more unforgettable experiences.
Warm regards,
Jennie Lee Montgomery, Social Media Manager
Blair Klumpyan, Director of Alumni and Donor Relations
